Hi, I’m Monica Meerwarth Fernsell, a watercolor artist with a deep love for capturing the quiet beauty of the natural world.

Painting has always been more than a passion for me, it’s a way to slow down, to breathe, and to see the world with softer eyes. From early childhood doodles to now exhibiting with the Florida Watercolor Society (and receiving their Healing Arts Purchase Award), my journey has always been about honoring those small, fleeting moments that often go unnoticed.

Through watercolor, I try to bottle a sense of calm and connection to nature.

When someone tells me one of my paintings makes them feel peaceful, nostalgic, or inspired, that’s when I know I’ve done my job.
